Calvert Elementary provides high-quality instruction for approximately 450 students in Preschool through Fifth Grade. Calvert is classified as Excellent on the Nebraska Department of Education Profile. The academic and social-emotional needs of ALL students are addressed with differentiated instruction as well as varied learning opportunities. High Ability Learners are identified at the end of 3rd grade and are supported with differentiated classroom instruction plus high-ability camps held in the summer and on some Saturdays during the school year. Title I and Resource programs support classroom instruction and provide interventions based on student needs. Bulldog Beginnings provides preschool with morning and afternoon sessions for three and four-year-olds. At Calvert Elementary School, we will educate and encourage all students and staff in a positive, student-centered learning environment.
