Plan for Use of Funds
A portion of the Esser III funds will be used to address learning loss among students, including low-income, special education, English learners, homeless and foster care students. The district will ensure that a research-based curriculum is in place to enhancing student learning. Data will be analyzed from assessments to determine when interventions are needed to support individual student needs. Additionally, a math interventionist will be hired to carry out interventions for students who have been identified.
The current air conditioning and filtration system at the high school is 50 years old and is no longer working properly. The school has allocated a portion of the Esser III funds to be used to replace four of the eight units on the high school roof and the AUH system located in the basement and attached to the main system of the high school.
